Is your credit union website secure? When transmitting sensitive private data over the internet, SSL is an important additional security layer. If you are not providing this, the consequences are serious.
For instance, any member accessing your website from a public wifi connection (such as at a coffee shop) can be eavesdropped on fairly easily. Eavesdroppers can see what is typed into login fields. That person can use these login credentials and then log in as that user, creating serious issues for your member.
Not sure if you are secure? Go to your website and look at the top left of the browser for a green Secure logo. If you would like to learn more how we can help, contact us today!
