INCLUDE EVERYONE

Many accessibility providers and overlays promise to make all necessary repairs on your website and help your WCAG conformance problems disappear in seconds, all at a fraction of the cost of other accessibility solutions. It sounds too good to be true, and that’s because it is. These band-aids and quick fixes are not a proper solution for accessibility, they often worsen the CX/UX, and they will increase your company’s likelihood of facing litigation. The only way to improve digital accessibility is to actually do the work required to become accessible, and that will not happen overnight.

As the Marketing Coordinator for our credit union, I was involved in every single aspect of launching our new website and I can't say one bad thing about my experience! When they say they create a website in 30 days, they mean it. Macey was incredible in listening to what we wanted and implementing it quickly and beautifully. Anisa has been outstanding in every way! Plus, the low price for the high quality of product and service you get is next to none. So happy we decided to go with OMNICOMMANDER and will be happy clients for years to come! Update: We won 1st place for the 2019 Website at our Louisiana Credit Union League convention in the Marketing in Excellence awards! Thank you, OMNICOMMANDER!

JUST DO THE WORK

It was obvious to us in early 2017, when ADA compliance litigation was just getting warmed up, that the best way to avoid being sued was to build a website that is 100% accessible. Doing things right the first time continues to be sound advice.

Jessica Moss makes all the difference to ensure all financial institution websites produced by OMNICOMMANDER are ADA compliant in their design. Jessica was born blind and learned how to read using braille at a very early age. She grew up completely dependent on assistive technology to interface with technology. She's a huge asset to the team and keeps everyone laughing with her sense of humor.

INDUSTRY FIRST

OMNICOMMANDER was the first financial institution website design firm in the industry to have a CPACC accredited ADA Compliance Officer on staff, as well as have two blind QA specialists that use assistive technology to scan our ADA compliant financial institution websites. This manual testing is the only true way to ensure full accessibility.

SSG Aaron Hale (Retired) is one of our blind QA ADA compliance specialists that goes through our financial institution websites using screen reader technology. Aaron lost his eyesight after suffering through an IED blast in Iraq.

ACCESSIBILITY IS EVERYONE'S JOB

It's not just our ADA Compliance team. Everyone at OMNICOMMANDER receives extensive ADA compliance training. From the front desk to marketing to sales—everyone here gets it. The only way to build a fully accessible industry is to start with a fully trained staff on ADA compliance standards.

Before any OMNICOMMANDER financial institution website goes live, one of our blind QA ADA compliance specialists goes through it using assistive technology. This last but critical step in our process ensures that other people using screen readers will also be able to utilize your financial institution’s website.

WCAG 2.2 AND BEYOND

Our commitment to ADA compliance does not stop with the current guidelines. Our staff is continually monitoring, as well as taking part in, the global conversation around digital inclusion. Our financial institutions are confident in the knowledge that the websites we build meet and exceed all current accessibility guidelines.
