Trust Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union with primary operations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. We service employees of Unum Corporation, Cigna Corporation, and many smaller businesses. In addition, anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in downtown Chattanooga may join. Christian Family Credit Union is a faith-based financial institution originally chartered to provide banking services to what is now known as The United Methodist Church. We continue to serve clergy, laity, churches and affiliated organizations of  the East, West and Indiana Conferences of The United Methodist Churches. March 24, 1964, this credit union was founded as T.U.T. Federal Credit Union by thirteen members to serve the employees of The University of Toledo in Toledo, Ohio. In October of 1976, the credit union’s name was officially changed to the University of Toledo Federal Credit Union and expanded services to the Medical College of Ohio’s employees. In the beginning, the service was limited, and the money short, but the 13 members were enthusiastic about their credit union. Sixty years later, UTFCU has grown from the original 13 members to 6,700+ members nationwide, providing a full spectrum of financial products and services.

University of Toledo Federal Credit Union has a closed membership, which means only UT faculty, staff, students, physicians, Alumni Association members, and their families are eligible to join.

Kern County Employees Federal Credit Union (Currently Strata Credit Union) was established in February of 1949 by a small group of five county employees looking for a better way to save, borrow, and invest their money.

Employees pooled their savings account funds together and used this capital to make loans to their co-workers. At the time, business was conducted on Saturdays or evenings after work in the board chairman’s kitchen. Loan decisions were made based on a member’s career stability and income. The first “mobile branch” was the trunk of a Sheriff’s patrol car.

In 2018, Kern Federal Credit Union changed its name to Strata Credit Union in an effort to eliminate years of name confusion with other similarly named organizations in the marketplace, and to prepare the organization for future growth.
